Art Affairs is the first Newspaper of its kind in India, on topics related to drawings, Paintings, portraits, Sculptures etc.. ART AFFAIRS has had a very humble beginning. . . What started off in a flier format has now grown to a widely circulated and publicised, ardently followed and religiously read monthly newspaper. As of today, ART AFFAIRS has a circulator of more than 3500 hard copies ART AFFAIRS has a readership of more than 5000 and a pan India reach. ART AFFAIRS reaches around 20 states in India. In a short time, ART AFFAIRS has grown in leaps and bounds from a cyclostyled flier to a formal, 12 page tabloid size, independent Newspaper printed on 90 gsm art paper with Four colour printing, the first of its kind, subscribed by readers, including artists, advocates, doctors, teachers, art-lovers, amateurs, colleges and institute so much so that institutions and others such as Corporates are willing to support us with their advisements. V. V. Guggari is a renowned artist and painter by passion and profession, started ART AFFAIRS as a matter of passion. The limited information and awareness on art matters, always gave him sleepless nights.
He always dreamt of a newspaper or a magazine on matters related to his field of work - making of drawings, paintings and portraits. When he spoke his heart to different people from different walks of life, he was widely discouraged, at times snubbed and negatively challenged by his own colleagues, friends, relatives and family.
The first few issues of ART AFFAIRS came in cyclostyled form in December 2014 and started moving forward with small and steady baby steps.
Akshay M. Bapat is a reputed commercial artist from Belgaum. He has been in the field of commercial art and design for the past 12 years. He is a diploma in Adverting and Graphic Designing, from Pune. He is well versed in adverting and printing techniques. His designing and printing unit, Design House is on the panel of a number of education institutes, Industries and corporates in and around Belgaum. He is associated with ART AFFAIRS right from the time of its inception. He is also in charge of the Marketing Head and online distributor and digital propaganda of ART AFFAIRS.
